This will interact with other plugins that use the toolbar api just fine. It doesn't take the menu over or anything. That being said, you won't be able to add/remove items from the php8bb menu with this plugin, but you could add additional dropdowns. For example php8bb blogomunity phpbb integration does that, adding moderation tools and so, will this button be added same way?
